Bandaloop in Kennebunkport is known for our use of organic and local foods, many vegetarian and vegan options, and an array of appetizers, entrees, and sauces to choose from. Everything is created in house, from the organic bread and sauces straight through to the desserts. From flour and salt to free range chicken and all natural organic beef, we demand only the highest quality organic ingredients, for their flavors as well as their lessened impact on the environment.
Bandaloop is...
...the name of a fictional tribe taken from the Tom Robbins’ novel Jitterbug Perfume.
In the book, this tribe knew the secret to eternal life. Although we don’t know the full secret, good food and wines must be a part of it.
We believe that life can be lengthened and enriched by a diet free of pesticides and hormones, and through the consumption of animals not fed on a diet of cruelty.
We take every opportunity to support this belief in serving organic, all natural and local Maine products whenever possible.
